Josie and Jason were married in a small, intimate ceremony overlooking the beach at Turtle Bay Resort. For their reception, held at the pavilion lawn, they requested a 3-tier ocean castle cake. They requested a modern, clean cake design and although it was an ocean castle, they didn’t want any “sand”.
We kept the design pretty simple – a buttercream cake with white sugar pillars, green seaweed, shells and shapes. The green seaweed was colored to match a swatch from their invitation, per Josie’s request. For their flavors they chose our Vanilla Chocolate Marble Cake with Chocolate Cream Filling and our Yellow Butter Cake with Fresh Strawberry Filling. The bride and groom provided their own cake topper.
